Every page
Tap a page. Hear it.
Each letter has a sound, made in your browser as you tap. Nothing downloads, and every sound is capped well below full volume, so nothing arrives as a bang.

The same twenty-six, larger, with narration and her name on it: the on-screen alphabet. Free, and staying free.
Not outgrown at three
One book, four ways to read it.
You do not move up on a birthday. You move up when she is ready, and you can always go back.
- Birth to 18 months
Amp.
Say the word on its own, then stop. The pause is her turn. - 18 months to three
Amp. That’s an amp.
Name it, then say one more thing about it. - Three to five
A is for Amp. A, ah.
Now the letter earns its place, with the sound it makes. - Five and up, and you
An amplifier takes a signal too small to hear and adds power to it.
What the thing actually does. On the last pages.
The Four on the Floor Standard
Rules every book in the series keeps, written down so you can check them.
A crossfader is called a crossfader. The word will still be true when she is twenty.
Every illustration is vector artwork by the author. No generative image tool was used.
The method links to the original papers, including where the evidence is thin. See the sources.
One master level well below full scale, one voice at a time, never closer than 120 milliseconds apart.
Nothing on our screens flashes faster than once a second, whatever the tempo.
The screen parts are the smallest parts. What the guidance says, in its own words.

Who made it
Written and drawn by someone who plays records for a living.
Raul Lee Bhaskaran is a producer, DJ and the founder of Sync Primitive Recording Company. He wrote and drew every page. He is not a clinician, which is why every claim about how children learn is attached to somebody who is.
Published by Sync Primitive Recording Company, Kuala Lumpur.
Questions
Before you buy.
Which edition for a one-year-old?
The board book. Paper survives her, and given the same story, print produces more back-and-forth talk between a parent and a toddler than a device does. The Kindle edition is for trying it tonight.
Can I give the Kindle edition as a gift?
Only on Amazon.com or Amazon.in, and only to someone in the same country; that is Amazon’s rule. For a gift anywhere else, a founding copy with the child’s name inside is the one to give.
Is anything about my child collected?
No. The sounds on this page and the on-screen alphabet run in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere.
